Un-knitting

I finally got it together enough to try Grumperina's Jaywalker pattern. I actually waited until someone wrote a toe-up version (thanks, Natalia!) and tried that. Unfortunately, I didn't own any size 1 needles, so I tried it on size two, following the smallest pattern. Unfortunately, it still turned out way too wide:
so it was frogged...

Even MORE unfortunately, my LYS doesn't sell size 1 needles in the 40 inch length. I don't feel like waiting to order them online (or paying shipping) so today I went back and bought two size 1 circular needles--a 16 inch and a 24 inch. I'm going to try to do two-at-once on two circular needles and see how I like that...
