The grand finale to the sixth grade year at C's school is Rocket Day. The whole class (and a lot of parents) travel to
Bong Recreation Area to launch the rockets that they've worked on in Science class. After the launches (and recovery missions), they have a picnic lunch and go swimming.
Since my mom is visiting, G. and I *both* got to go to Rocket Day. Some pictures:
